Thanks David! My life, too, was greatly changed by Roger including sailing across the South Pacific in 1982/83, to Antartica in 1988 and meeting other sailors whose boats I would adventure on. I’m very thankful for his generosity.
I sometimes wonder about those people who have popped in and out of my life: how my life was changed by knowing them, and how it might be different had we kept contact. But your message about making your own luck and the ways a person can influence the lives of others is one of the most significant.
